A hat is a symbol of the working man. You don't have any hats. You are unemployed. If only you had someone else's hat. That way you could also have their occupation

But why stop there?

Collect as many hats as you can! Every hat you obtain gives you another W-2!

Don't let too many people escape, and don't steal their hat form in front of their face! They'll catch you for sure!
